Education
Build Schools
The One Family Education Agenda seeks to build schools in deprived communities.
Assist Interested Women In Learning
One Family Foundation is passionate about assisting brilliant and interested women who for
whatever reason dropped out of school in achieving their dreams of going back to school.
“When you educate a man, you educate an individual. When you educate a woman, you
educate a nation.” – Dr Kwagyir Aggrey
Increase Computer Literacy
The One Family Foundation provides a computer literacy program in deprived schools and the donation of
computers to schools and students.
One Family Scholarships
Students receive some form of financial aid from One Family Foundation to help cover the
cost of education. Scholarships cover academic and athletic education.
Scholarships can also
come in many different amounts, with some being as little as a few hundred dollars and
others covering the full cost of tuition.
Welfare
Prisoner Rehabilitation
As we work with prisons, we would like to see what it takes to reintroduce ex-convicts back into society and communities.
Employment for Ex-Cons
Our organization would like to work with different communities to establish educational programs to assist ex-convicts back to the workforce.
Health
Dietary Quality
Poor diet is the leading risk factor for disease, disability, and premature death in the majority
of poor communities around the world.
At One Family Foundation, we aim to improve the dietary quality of vulnerable children and
families around the world through training mothers on taking care of children and providing mothering kits to needy mothers
Agricultural/Environmental Developments
We are launching a bold new strategy to build a more nourishing, sustainable, and equitable food system that improves dietary quality for needy communities.
Our gardening programs and Supplies with Communities initiative works to meet the urgent needs of this moment while supporting transformation of food systems for today and tomorrow in deprived communities.
Female Hygiene Outreach
Roughly half of the female population , around 26 per cent of the global population, are of
reproductive age. Yet, as normal as it is, female hygiene is stigmatized around the world.
A lack of information about female hygiene leads to damaging misconceptions and
discrimination, and can cause girls to miss out on normal childhood experiences and
activities.
Stigma, taboos and myths prevent adolescent girls from the opportunity
to learn about female hygiene and develop healthy habits.
Widows & Orphans Aid
One Family Foundation seeks to address and support the needs of widows and orphans.
